Florida Gators DB Jadarrius Perkins to enter transfer portal

Jadarrius Perkins, a senior defensive back for the Florida Gators, is entering the transfer portal. In the season opener against Utah, Perkins played only six snaps and recorded one tackle. He was competing with Jaydon Hill for the nickel spot, but Hill took the majority of the snaps against the Utes. Sources indicate that there are no hard feelings between Perkins and Florida and this is simply a case of Perkins wanting more playing time to showcase his abilities this late in his career. With Perkins moving on, true freshman Sharif Denson is expected to move up the depth chart.

Here is the tweet from Perkins announcing his intentions

I want to appreciate Dan Mullen and Scott Strickland for giving me the Opportunity to be a Gator something I’ll remember and cherish forever. With that being said I have decided to enter my name in the Transfer Portal as a Graduate. A really unfortunate situation I love all of my teammates that has kept me up throughout everything.

Outside noise mean zero only the people in this circle knows the real and that’s all that truly matters.

Wishing my brothers luck in finishing this season you guys works so hard for it.
