The Florida Gators have lost a commitment for their 2025 class from Peyton Joseph, a four-star offensive lineman from Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County. This change comes just one week after Joseph stated his commitment was solid.

Joseph, ranked as the seventh interior offensive lineman on 247 Sports and the 12th in the country for the On3 Industry Rankings, had previously suggested that Florida, Florida State, LSU, and Texas A&M would definitely receive official visits, with Ole Miss and Southern California also possibilities.
It is now uncertain whether Florida will receive an official visit from Joseph.
Joseph had initially committed to Florida over Georgia Tech on Feb. 18. He indicated last week that FSU and LSU were the main competitors against Florida. He had visited FSU earlier this month.
Despite reaffirming his commitment to the Florida Gators during a three-day visit in March, Joseph is back on the market. One school that has attracted him multiple times this spring is Florida State, where his cousin, TJ Ferguson, transferred from Alabama.
The remaining commits in Florida’s 2025 class consist of four-star edge Jalen Wiggins from Tallahassee, four-star running back Waltez Clark from Tampa, three-star wide receiver Josiah Abdullah from Atlanta, and three-star offensive tackle Enoch Wangoy from Jacksonville.
