Bralen Womack – Safety
Hartfield Academy (Brandon, MS)
On3 Ranking: National 12 | Position 1
Corey’s Take: Florida finds itself in strong contention for the five-star safety, currently sitting in Womack’s top four. While Ohio State has recently taken the lead, Florida’s stock has risen considerably following two influential campus visits. Assistant coach Vinnie Sunseri has been a key figure in this recruitment, maintaining his pursuit of Womack since his time at Washington. With the nation’s top-ranked safety still considering options, a strong official visit could put Florida in the driver’s seat.
Jake Kruel – Edge
IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL)
On3 Ranking: National 36 | Position 6
Corey’s Take: Kruel has emerged as a top-50 prospect nationally, showing impressive development at IMG Academy after transferring from Bishop Moore. His Florida connections run deep, with his father being a UF graduate. The talented edge rusher has been methodical in his recruitment process, planning multiple spring visits before deciding on official visits. Florida appears to be in an excellent position, as Kruel has indicated that Florida’s culture aligns perfectly with his preferences and was his childhood dream school. He maintains consistent communication with head coach Billy Napier and position coach Mike Peterson.
James Johnson – Defensive Line
Northwestern (Cape Coral, FL)
On3 Ranking: National 58 | Position 3
Corey’s Take: Johnson, who has transferred from Miami Northwestern to North Fort Myers, has been a long-time target for the Gators’ coaching staff. While Georgia currently leads his recruitment, Florida holds a strong second position and has hosted Johnson more frequently than any other program. The coaching staff’s early interest, even before extending an offer, speaks volumes about their evaluation of his potential. Though not currently rated as a five-star, Johnson’s elite status could earn him that distinction as recruiting rankings evolve through the cycle.
